Gabrielle Apollon is a supervising attorney with NYU Law’s Global Justice Clinic. She is also the Deputy Director of the Clinic’s Haiti Project. Prior to returning to NYU, Gabrielle served as Managing Attorney of the Legal Services Center at The Door: A Center for Alternatives. Gabrielle primarily represented West African and Haitian youth in immigration and family law matters when she started her legal career as a Chadbourne & Parke fellow at The Door. A 2015 graduate of NYU School of Law, Gabrielle was an AnBryce Scholar and served as a student advocate in the Global Justice and Children’s Rights Clinics. As a law student, Gabrielle earned a Ford Foundation Law School Public Interest Fellowship to work with Conectas, a human rights organization in Brazil, to document human rights violations of Haitian migrants. Prior to law school, Gabrielle worked at the U.N. Office of the Special Envoy for Haiti as a research specialist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University. Gabrielle serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors of St. Hope Leadership Academy.
