Carl Lindskoog is a historian of migration and empire and associate professor of history at Raritan Valley Community College.  He is the author of Detain and Punish: Haitian Refugees and the Rise of the World's Largest Immigration Detention System.  Carl is currently writing a new history of the Sanctuary Movement, from Reagan to Trump.
